You’re Not Lost. You’re in the Waiting Room.

April 29, 20263 min read

You’re Not Lost.

You’re in the Waiting Room.

There is a space that no one prepares you for.

It is not the moment you are diagnosed.
And it is not the moment everything finally makes sense.

It is the space in between.

The space where you are trying to figure out what this all means.

You are going to appointments.
You are learning new words.
You are adjusting your life in ways you never expected.

And at the same time… life is still happening.

You are still showing up for your family.
Your work.
Your responsibilities.

All while quietly asking yourself:

What now
Will this get worse
Will I ever feel like myself again

This space can feel heavy.

Not because nothing is happening.

But because everything is.

And there is no clear direction yet.

I remember being there.

Trying to make sense of what my life was going to look like.
Wondering how I was going to keep doing everything I had been doing.
Trying to stay strong on the outside while everything felt uncertain on the inside.

And the hardest part was this.

There was no clear path.

Just waiting.

Waiting for answers.
Waiting for relief.
Waiting to feel like things were moving forward.

But here is what I have come to understand.

You are not stuck.

You are in the waiting room.

Not just the one with the chairs and the paperwork.

The one you carry with you.

The space between where you were… and where you are going.

The space where you are learning, even when it does not feel like it.

The space where you are becoming, even when it feels slow.

We tend to think that nothing counts in this part of the journey.

That the real progress comes later.

When things are clearer.
When things feel better.
When we have more answers.

But that is not true.

This is where the real work is happening.

Quietly.

Internally.

In the decisions you are making.
In the way you are beginning to listen to your body.
In the way you are starting to see yourself differently.

Nothing about this season is wasted.

And I think that is why this space deserves more conversation.

Because too many women are sitting here… thinking they are alone.

Thinking they are doing something wrong.

Thinking they should be further along by now.

You are not behind.

You are in the middle of something.

And the middle is where everything starts to change.

That is why I created something for you.

My podcast, In The Waiting Room, will be dropping May 20th.

A space for the conversations we are not having enough of.

The real ones.
The honest ones.
The ones that happen in between the appointments, the answers, and the outcomes.

Because that is where most of life is lived.

Right here.

If you have been feeling like you are in that space, I want you to know this.

You are not alone there.

And if you are looking for support as you move through it, here are a few ways we can walk this together:

You are not lost.

You are in a space that is shaping you.

And you do not have to go through it alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here Are a Few Common Questions

Question 1: What does an Autoimmune Coach do?

An Autoimmune Support Coach helps you navigate the emotional and mental side of life after a diagnosis. I provide tools, guidance, and a safe space to process your experience so you can find balance, confidence, and clarity while managing your condition.

Question 2: Is this a replacement for medical care?

No. Coaching complements your medical care by focusing on mindset, emotional wellbeing, and lifestyle support. I help you manage the mental and day-to-day challenges that medical treatment alone doesn’t always address.

Question 3: What can I expect from working together?

You can expect a judgment-free space where we focus on you—your emotions, routines, and goals. We’ll build personalized strategies to help you feel steady, supported, and capable of living fully again.

Question 4: Who do you work with?

I work with individuals who’ve been diagnosed with any autoimmune condition and are ready to find a new sense of normal. Whether you were recently diagnosed or have lived with a condition for years, our work together helps you move from surviving to thriving.
